How to redirect non www to www?

Solution Create a .htaccess file in the folder of your website

Place the contents into your .htaccess file and replace vodien.com with your domain name.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^vodien.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.vodien.com/$1 [L,R=301]

Is there benefits for doing that? Yes it does, it helps you ensure that search engines do not crawl two of the same page from your website and this may dilute your ranking because search engine treat http://www.yourdomain.com and http://yourdomain.com as two different URL.
