How to access the WordPress Dashboard

After adding a new WordPress website or transferring an existing one, you can access the WordPress Dashboard to manage your content, settings, themes, plugins, and updates.

There are two ways to access the WordPress Dashboard:

• Through the Vodien Account Manager
• Through the WordPress login page (WP-Admin)

Before you begin

Before accessing the WordPress Dashboard, make sure that the following requirements are met:

• Your domain or subdomain is connected to your WordPress Hosting service. Otherwise, you may not be able to access the WordPress Dashboard.
• You have your WordPress username and password. If you do not know your login credentials, see How to reset your WordPress Admin Password.

Access the WordPress Dashboard through Account Manager

1. Log in to your Vodien Account.
2. From the top product menu, select WordPress.
3. If you have multiple WordPress Hosting plans, select the hosting plan you want to manage.
4. Click Control Panel.
5. Under Site, locate the domain or subdomain you want to manage.
6. Click the three-dot (⋮) icon next to the domain or subdomain and select Edit Site.

 The WordPress Dashboard opens in a new tab, where you can manage your content, settings, themes, plugins, and updates.

Access the WordPress Dashboard through the WP-Admin page

Use this method if you want to access WordPress directly through its login page or provide website access without sharing your Vodien Account Manager credentials.

1. In your web browser, enter either of the following URLs:
   • <yourhostname>/wp-admin
   • <yourhostname>/wp-login.php
     Tip: Replace <yourhostname> with the domain or subdomain of the WordPress website you want to access.
2. Enter your Username or Email Address and Password.
3. Click Log In.

The WordPress Dashboard opens in a new tab, where you can manage your content, settings, themes, plugins, and updates.
