How To Access WordPress Panel
After you have successfully added a new WordPress website or just transferred an existing one, you may now access its settings and do updates on your website.
The WordPress website can be edited in the WordPress Panel, also known as the WordPress Dashboard.
Accessing WordPress Panel via Account Manager
The following steps are only applicable for WordPress hosting. Click here if you have another type of hosting.
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click on the WordPress button on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- A list of your WordPress Hosting plans will be displayed. Choose the plan you wish to access. You can skip this step if there is only one WordPress Hosting plan on the account.
- Click the WP Panel button on the right side of the page to show the list of your domains/subdomains for your WordPress website/s.
- Select the domain/subdomain of the website that you want to edit. You will then be redirected to its corresponding WordPress Panel/Dashboard.
Accessing WordPress Panel via WP-Admin Page
There are instances when you cannot just simply give your Vodien Account Manager logins to someone else for security purposes. Nevertheless, you can still allow other people to edit the website for you by letting them log in through the WordPress Admin login page. Follow the steps below:
Step 1. Obtain the username and password of your WordPress dashboard inside your Account Manager specifically under WordPress tab.
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click on the WordPress button on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Scroll down to choose the website that you would like to get access to.
- Click the Production tab.
- Take note of the Hostname, SSH/SFTP Username, and Password. These are the logins that can be used for the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2. Use either of these two formats to access the login link: Hostname/wp-admin or Hostname/wp-login.php. Hostname is the subdomain/domain taken from the WordPress tab in your Account Manager (highlighted on the screenshot above).
The page after accessing the link should look like this:
Step 3. Fill out the details as follows:
- Username or Email Address: SSH/SFTP Username
- Password: Password
Step 4. Click the Log In button to be redirected to the WordPress Panel/Dashboard.
IMPORTANT: WordPress Panel is only accessible if your domain or subdomain is connected to the WordPress Hosting IP address. Click here to check if your domain name is already connected to your WordPress Hosting.
You can now login to your WordPress Panel to start editing your website.
