How To Clear Browser’s Cache and Cookies

It is important that you clear your browser’s cache and cookies since there are websites that you may access which shows old contents. Please follow the instructions below on how to clear browser’s cache and cookies. (Click on the Browser name and Operating System to expand the details.)

Clear browser’s cache and cookies

 

Google Chrome (Windows)
  1. Click on the 3 lines located in the top right corner of your browser.

  2. Hover your mouse to More tools and select Clear browsing data.

  3. Tick the check box Cookies and other site and plugin data and cached image and files.
     
  4. Choose the time frame from the "Obliterate the following items from" drop-down arrow.

  5. Click on Clear browsing data button.

 

Google Chrome (Mac)
  1. Click on the 3 dots located in the top right corner of your browser.

  2. Hover your mouse over More Tools and select Clear Browsing Data.

  3. Tick the check box Cookies and other site and plugin data and cached image and files.
  4. Choose the time frame from the "Obliterate the following items from" drop-down arrow.

  5. Click on Clear browsing data button.

 

Google Chrome (Mobile)
  1. Open Google Chrome and tap on the 3 dots located at the top right-hand corner of your browser.

  2. Select History.

  3. In the History page, tap on CLEAR BROWSING DATA located at the bottom of your screen.

  4. Select Cache, Cookies, site data and tap CLEAR.

Firefox (Windows)
  1. Open a browser. On the home page, click Options with a gear icon.

    You may also click on the 3 lines located at the top right corner of your Firefox browser and click on Options with a gear icon.

  2. Select Advanced.

  3. Click on Network tab. You will see Cached Web Content. Click on Clear Now button.

Firefox (Mac)
  1. In the left top corner of your screen, click Firefox and select Preferences.

    You may also click on the 3 lines located in the top right corner of your Firefox browser and click on Preferences with a gear icon.

  2. Select Advanced.

  3. Click on Network tab. You will see Cached Web Content. Click on Clear Now button.

Safari (iPhone and iPad)
  1. Click on Settings on your phone.
     
  2. Choose on Safari.

  3. Tap on Clear History and Website Data.

Safari (Mac)
  1. Click on Safari, located at the top menu of your screen and select Clear History.

  2. You will have a window popup about clearing the history. Choose the time you want to clear and click on Clear History button.
