Common Email Errors
When your email address is setup on different devices, you may encounter errors from time to time. This could be due to change of mail servers, change of passwords or incorrect mail settings. Learn more of the common email errors below:
Problem: Incorrect username and password.
Solution: Check your settings and that you have entered your email address as your username, and you’ve typed your password correctly. If you’re not sure about your password, click the guided link on how to change your email password.
Problem: Cannot send out emails.
Solution: Check that you have enabled the option “My server requires authentication” in Server tab.
Problem: SMTP server does not support SSL secure connection.
Solution: Check that you have disabled the option “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” in Advanced tab.
Problem: Unable to load subscribed folder.
Solution: Right-click on your IMAP folder and click on Reset List.
