How to Create Email Accounts in Hosting Manager
Create a professional email address for your business. Follow the steps below on how to create it in your hosting.
Note: The steps herein are for Cheapdomains and AustDomains hosting legacy plans. If you have another kind of hosting plan, follow the steps on how to create an email account in cPanel and in Exchange.
Step 1. Log in to Control Panel or the Hosting Manager.
Step 2. Click Email or the [v] drop-down arrow on its right.
Step 3. Click Accounts from the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Enter the details to complete the creation of email address.
- Email – Enter the username in the box before the (@) at symbol. If more than one domain or subdomain is connected to the hosting, click the drop-down after the (@) at symbol to select the correct domain or subdomain for your email address.
- Password – Enter a hard to guess password in the box provided. Use the Password Generator if necessary and take note of the password provided. The required password strength is at least 20/100. Otherwise, an error pops up as shown in the screenshot below.
- Mailbox Quota – Enter a number inside the box to limit the storage size of the mailbox. Otherwise, click the radio button below it to set it to Unlimited.
Step 5. Click the Create Account button to save the changes.
A message displaying the account is created will show below the Create Account button. The newly created email address also appears on the list under Email Accounts.
The email can now be accessed in webmail if the DNS is set up properly.
