What Is Domain Privacy
Domain Privacy, also known as WHOIS Privacy or Private Registration, hides all domain registration details from the public eye. This means that your name, address, email address, and phone number, which are assigned as the Registrant, Billing, Technical, and Administration contacts will be hidden from public WHOIS searches.
How Does Domain Privacy Work
When you register a new Domain Name, all your contact information are public by default. This is a policy set by the Registry which all domain Registrars need to follow.
Domain Privacy is an addon service that allows us to replace your details with information from our official partner, the Private Registry Authority. This keeps your personal information private and keeps you away from spammers, hackers, and identity thieves.
Are There Restrictions
Yes, there are a few registry restrictions, and Vodien’s Domain Privacy is not yet available for the following TLDs:
Note: The availability of our Domain Privacy service may change depending on Registry Policies. Also, Domain Privacy is not prorated and will follow its corresponding Domain Name’s renewal and expiration dates.
