How to Move Files to Another Folder Using File Manager

If FTP clients are not available for uploading or moving file/s from one directory to another, a different way is using your File Manager. As long as you can access your cPanel, this is very easy.

Here are the steps one how to move files to another folder:

Step 1. Log in to the cPanel using this link format: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
Replace yourdomain.com with the Main Domain Name connected to your hosting.
Step 2. Click File Manager under Files panel.

Step 3. Click the name of the folder where your files are located.

Step 4. Select all files or the file you want to move. On the top menu, click Move.

Or, select the file/folder and right-click and choose Move.

Step 5. Enter the directory where you want to move the file/s and click Move File(s).
