Product or Service Cancellation
You can cancel a product or service through your account manager by either turning off auto-renewal or permanently deleting the product.
Disabling Auto-Renewal
This action will cancel the product’s registration at the end of its billing cycle, letting you continue using it for the time you’ve already paid for. To proceed, make sure auto-renew is turned off for the product.
Follow the steps below to disable Auto-Renewal:
- Log in to your Vodien account manager.
- On the left side click EDIT PROFILE.
- Click Payment Settings.
- If your products or services are on auto renewal, you will see Auto Renewal at the left side of the mode of payment that was set into.
- Below Auto Renewal click on the product or service that you wish to manage.
- Remove the check mark on the product or service that is on Auto Renewal.
- Click Update.
Once completed, the product will not be renewed after its billing cycle ends and will be canceled on the set expiry date. You can disregard any renewal reminders for products you no longer wish to renew.
Deleting a Product
Deleting a product or service removes it from your account immediately and cancels any remaining paid period.
Deleting a domain doesn't immediately remove you as the registrant. Depending on the registry, the domain may go through a 30-day Redemption Period, followed by a 5-day Pending Delete phase, before it becomes available for new registration. Some domains may skip the Redemption Period but still enter Pending Delete. For more information, refer to our guide on Understanding Domain Names Life Cycle.
Important: Please note that deleting a Domain, Hosting, or any other Product/Service will not result in a refund or credit for any unused time remaining in the current term.
Follow the steps below to delete a domain, product or service:
- Log in to your Vodien account manager.
- At the top section, select the domain or product/service you wish to manage.
• For a domain:– Click on the specific domain name.
– Click the ☰ (menu icon) below your domain name.
– Select Delete, then confirm the deletion.
• For a product/service:
– Click on the plan name.– Click MANAGE, then click the + button in the top right corner.
– Select Delete [Product/Service Name] and confirm the deletion.
