How to restore an automated WordPress backup
WordPress Hosting automatically creates and stores up to five backups of your website. These backups can be used to restore your site when needed.
If your WordPress website is experiencing issues or you need to revert to an earlier version, this guide will walk you through the process of restoring a backup from your WordPress Hosting account. By following the steps below, you can restore your website to a previous backup and recover its files, settings, and database content.
IMPORTANT. Restoring a backup will replace your current live WordPress site with the selected backup version. To avoid losing any recent changes, make sure you have backed up your latest website files and database before proceeding.
Before you start:
• Back up your WordPress website files
• Back up your WordPress database (SQL file)
