How To Create an Email Account in Plesk
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to create an email account in Plesk, including setting up the mailbox, assigning login credentials, and preparing the account for use.
Create an email account
- Sign in to Plesk.
- From the left-hand menu, click Mail.
- On the Mail page, click Create Email Address.
- Enter your preferred email name in the Email address field, then select the domain you want to use.
- Provide an external email address that you can access for password recovery purposes.
- Create a secure password for the mailbox in the Password field.
- Re-enter the password to confirm it.
- Set the preferred mailbox size limit.
- Click OK to create the email account.
Confirm the Email Account Creation
Once the email account has been created, check the Mail section in your Plesk panel to confirm that the new mailbox is listed.
You can then access the mailbox through Webmail or set it up in your preferred email application using the correct mail server settings.
