How to transfer a domain to another Vodien account‌

If you need to transfer a domain name from one Vodien account to another, you can do this through an Internal Domain Transfer. This process allows you to move domain management between Vodien accounts while keeping the domain registration active. It can be useful when merging accounts or assigning domain management to another user.

Before you start

Before transferring your domain to another Vodien account, take note of the following:

• The domain registrant details will remain unchanged during the transfer.
• Only the admin, technical, and billing contact details will be updated to match the destination account.
• Once the transfer is completed, the destination account becomes responsible for managing the domain, including DNS settings and future renewals.

Step 1: Get the domain authorization code

Log in to the source account and obtain the authorization code for the domain you want to transfer.

Step 2: Initiate the transfer from the destination account

1. Log in to the destination account.
2. From the product menu on top, select Domains.
3. Click the Transfer tab.
4. Enter the domain name that you want to transfer in the field next to www.
5. Click TRANSFER.
6. Enter the domain password you obtained from Step 1.
7. Click ADD TO CART.
8. Continue and complete the checkout process.
