Cloud Expo Asia 2022 Celebrates Grand Return

The recently concluded Cloud Expo Asia 2022 successfully launched its in-person comeback, drawing thousands of tech professionals, business leaders, brands, and some of the biggest names in the industry.

Cloud Expo Asia was co-located with other award-winning events as part of Techweek Singapore, including DevOps Live, Cyber Security World, Big Data and AI World, Data Centre World, eCommerce Expo Asia, and Technology for Marketing Asia.

These tech gatherings enriched the audience with relevant discussions, innovations, and pressing challenges in the tech space.

Cloud Expo Asia 2022: A Summary

The show’s guest of honor, Executive Director (Exhibitions and Conferences) of Singapore Board of Tourism Chi Chuan Poh, opened the event with delight seeing the vibrant and eager crowd of technologists and enthusiasts gathered in one place.

Poh fondly recalls Techweek Singapore’s early beginnings, when it was more commonly known as Cloud Expo Asia alone. Back then, it only had data centre and cloud computing as its content pillars. Now, the event has since expanded into six content pillars with a record-breaking 22,000 attendees.

The co-located events held together over 200 conferences and were led by more than 500 industry leaders and experts.

The main talking points were on crucial subjects shaking up the tech world, such as data communities, metaverse, NFTs, AI deployment, the application of multi-cloud ready models, hybrid cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and the impact of technology on sustainability.

The expo showcased more than 300 exhibitors of leading solutions providers, including giant industry players Huawei Cloud, Lenovo, Shopify, and Mitsubishi.
