Change the Ownership of gTLD Vodien Domain
IMPORTANT. This is only applicable for gTLDs or generic top-level domains (top-level domains with 3 or more characters, e.g. .com, .net, .org, .online, .xyz).
For other TLDs, read this guide: Change the Ownership of Your Vodien Domain.
As per ICANN policy, any change on the Organization Details, First Name, Last Name, and Email Address is considered a change in domain ownership and would require authorization. To update the registrant details of your gTLD domain, follow these steps:
- Access your Domain Manager.
- Scroll down to the Administration section.
- Click on the Registrant Contact row, then click CHANGE OWNER.
- Update the necessary registrant details (Business Name or Business Number, First and Last Name, Email Address).
- Click on SAVE CHANGES. The Authorization screen will display.
- Click on SEND AUTHORIZATION REQUEST.
- No changes to the registrant email. The verification email will be sent to the existing registrant email.
- The registrant email has been changed. The verification email will be sent to both emails (previous and new registrant emails).
- Access the registrant email to approve the changes (both previous and new if the registrant email address is changed).
I don't have access to the existing registrant email
If you cannot approve the changes because you no longer have access to the current registrant email address, you will need to follow our Domain Access Recovery process to update it.
