VPS Dashboard
The VPS Dashboard has three tabs, namely:
- All Items – This tab shows a list of all Virtual Machines on the account. Each row has the Virtual Machine Name, Type, Status, and Subscription shown with it.
- Virtual Machines – This section also shows a list of all Virtual Machines on the account but shows the actions bar at the bottom when an item from the list is clicked. The actions bar is where you have the option to connect, start, pause, restart, shut down, stop, and delete a Virtual Machine. Each row on the Virtual Machines tab gives the following details:
- Virtual Machine Name – A unique name to distinguish one Virtual Machine from another. Clicking each name redirects you to another page where you can manage each Virtual Machine.
- Dashboard – This is where you can see statistics about the server usage, including the usage overview, server information, and the attached devices associated with the Virtual Machine.
- Configure – This tab gives you an option to manage your machine settings and its devices.
- Status – This shows if the Virtual Machine is currently running or is being stopped.
- Subscription – This displays the name of the plan where the Virtual Machine is under.
- Type – This shows whether a Virtual Machine is a Standalone or not.
- Instances – Gives us the number as to how many times the same Virtual Machine is recreated.
- Creation Time – This shows the date and time when the Virtual Machine was created.
- Virtual Machine Name – A unique name to distinguish one Virtual Machine from another. Clicking each name redirects you to another page where you can manage each Virtual Machine.
- My Account – This last tab on the Service Management Portal gives you areas where you can modify account–specific information like the options listed below.
- Subscriptions – This section gives you information about all the subscriptions under the account and lets you change the name and delete a subscription.
- Management Certificates – This is the tab where a management certificate can be uploaded.
- Administrators – This is where you go if you need to authorize a person to access the Virtual Manager. On this tab, you can add, edit, and delete an administrator.
