How to Download Backup Files via JetBackup
Vodien Web Hosting and Business Hosting packages have JetBackup available on their cPanel accounts. This is where you can find the scheduled generated backups by cPanel which are downloadable anytime. Below is the list on how often backups are generated based on your hosting package:
- Web Hosting – a copy every two weeks
- Web Hosting with Automated Daily Backups addon – daily backup (Last 7 days – 7 copies)
- Business Hosting – daily backup (Last 7 days – 7 copies)
Follow the steps below on how to download these backups from cPanel.
Step 1. Log in to cPanel.
Step 2. Under JetBackup, click the type of backup you want to download. As an example, this article’s objective is to download the backup of public_html folder. So, click File Backups.
Step 3. Click the corresponding File Manager button of the backup date you want to download.
Step 4. Select the files you want to download by checking the box provided for each file name and click Download Selected.
Step 5. Click Add to Download Queue. A message status displays on the same page that the download is in progress.
Step 6. On the same page, click the download link under Downloads to download the file to your computer. If the download link doesn’t exist on this page, go back to cPanel homepage and click on Queue under JetBackups to see the status of the backup.
