How To Manually Back Up a WordPress Hosting Website

Automated backups are available in your Vodien WordPress hosting but are not downloadable. The backups generated are also from random dates and cannot be configured to your preferred date. However, manually downloading a website backup is possible by following the steps below.

Downloading of Website Files

  1. Access your WordPress Hosting files.
  2. Under Local Site, usually found on the left window pane of your FTP client, choose the destination folder where you want the backup to be saved.
  3. Under Remote Site, usually found on the right window pane of your FTP client, right-click on the folder that has the WordPress hosting SSH/SFTP username as the file name. This folder contains all your website files and folders.
  4. Click the Download option from the drop-down.
