How To Modify Exim Port
This article explains how to configure an additional Exim port in WHM for Vodien VPS and Dedicated Server plans. It provides the steps to enable another SMTP port that can be used when the standard SMTP ports are unavailable or blocked.
Exim (Experimental Internal Mailer) is a mail transfer agent and flexible mailer used in Linux systems. It has many tools for checking incoming email. Modifying the Exim port gives you the option to use another port number aside from the numbers 25, 465 and 587. Follow the steps below on how to set up another exim port.
- Log in to WHM.

- Click Service Configuration on either the sidebar menu or on the Home page.

- Click Service Manager.

- Scroll through the page and look for Exim Mail Server.
- Check the four boxes as shown in the image below and make sure to indicate port 26 in the box provided.

If your emails are still not working after trying ports 25, 465, and 587, use port 26 on your email client after following the steps above.
