How to add host records to your Vodien domain
If you use custom name servers, such as ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com, you need to add host records (also known as glue records) to the domain used for your name servers. Host Records associate your custom name servers with their IP addresses so the domain registry can locate them.
Host Records can only be added to the domain they belong to. You must therefore access the Domain Manager for the specific domain you’re using for your custom name servers.
Follow the steps below to add host records to your domain:
- Access your Vodien domain manager.
- Click on the Name Servers tab.
- Scroll down to the Host Records section and click on ADD HOST RECORD.
- Enter the host record and its IP address and click on SAVE RECORD.
Unable to delete host records
You cannot delete Host Records that are currently being used as name servers by another domain. Make sure the Host Records are no longer in use before deleting them.
