How To Terminate a cPanel Account

This article explains how to terminate a cPanel account in WHM. It also outlines the effects of account termination and the options available before the account is permanently removed.

Follow the steps below on how to delete or terminate a cPanel account. This change is irreversible. Hence, make sure to back up your files before doing this.

1. Log in to WHM.
   
   
   
    
2. Click Account Functions on the sidebar menu or on the Home page.
   
   
   
    
3. Click Terminate Accounts.
   
   
   
    
4. Tick the box to select multiple accounts and use the search box if necessary.
   
   
   
    
5. Click the Remove selected accounts button when removing multiple accounts or the Remove button when deleting an account one by one.
    
6. Click the Yes, remove this account button to confirm the deletion of the cPanel account.
   
   
   
   
   A confirmation message appears that the account is successfully removed.
