How to Set Up Your Email Account in Thunderbird

Prepare your email configuration settings

Before configuring your email account on Thunderbird, ensure that the email account has already been created, configured, and verified to be working correctly. Thunderbird only connects to an existing email account.

Set up your email account on Thunderbird

Once you have your email configuration settings ready, you can proceed with adding your email account to Mozilla Thunderbird.

On your Windows PC, open Thunderbird.
At the top right of the screen, click on the Menu icon.
Click New Account, then Email. A new screen will open.
Enter your name, and the email address that you want to set up.
Click MANUAL CONFIGURATION.
Complete the setup by following the prompts and entering your email settings.
