How to create and manage Autoresponders in Roundcube Webmail
If you use Roundcube Webmail with a cPanel-hosted email account, you can create an autoresponder that automatically replies to incoming emails when you are away, unavailable, or need to provide an automatic acknowledgment to senders.
Create an Autoresponder in Roundcube Webmail
- Access your Webmail.
- From the left navigation pane, click Webmail Home.
- Click Autoresponders.
- Click Add Autoresponder.
- Complete the autoresponder settings:
- Character Set: Keep the default value unless you require a different encoding format.
- Interval: Specify the number of hours that must pass before the same sender receives another automatic reply.
Note: The Interval setting controls how frequently the same sender can receive an automatic response.
For example, if the interval is set to 24, a sender will receive only one autoresponse within a 24-hour period. An interval of 0 sends an automatic reply for every message received. - Email Address: Choose the email account that will send the automatic reply.
- From: Enter the sender name that recipients will see in the automatic reply.
- Subject: Provide a subject line for the autoresponse.
- Body: Enter the message that recipients will receive.
- Start Time: Set when the autoresponder should begin operating.
- Stop Time: (Optional) Set when the autoresponder should stop sending replies.
- Click Create to enable the autoresponder.
