Manage auto-renewals
Keeping your services active helps prevent unexpected interruptions to your website, domain name, and other online products. Understanding how auto-renewals work can help you stay ahead of renewal dates, maintain uninterrupted service, and avoid accidental expiration, which is sometimes too costly to recover.
Understanding the Auto Renew feature
Vodien offers an Auto Renew feature that helps keep your services active by automatically renewing them before they expire.
Auto Renew is enabled by default when you purchase Vodien products or services, but you can disable it at any time after purchasing.
When Auto Renew is enabled, keep the following in mind:
- Products or domain names obtained through a free offer or promotional discount will automatically renew at the current standard renewal price once the promotional period ends.
- Auto-renewal charges are processed 7 days before the expiration date of the service.
- Auto-renewal reminder emails are sent 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before the scheduled auto-renewal.
- If an automatic renewal payment is unsuccessful, you will receive a notification so you can renew the service manually.
- You can enable or disable auto-renewal at any time.
Enable or disable Auto Renew
You can manage the auto-renewal setting for individual products directly from your Account manager.
- Access the product that you want Auto Renew disabled.
- Under Overview, locate the Auto Renew setting.
- Toggle Auto Renew On or Off, depending on your preference.
Assign a credit card for auto-renewal
To ensure uninterrupted service, all products with Auto Renew enabled must be linked to a valid credit card. You must assign a primary credit card to your account, which will be used by default for all auto-renewing products.
