Understanding sections and elements in your site

Your website is built using a structure of stacked blocks. The largest block, which stretches across the full width of your page, is called a Section. Inside each section are smaller blocks known as Elements, where your actual content is placed — such as text, images, videos, or buttons.

Think of sections as containers for organizing your layout, while elements hold the content that appears on your page.

How to add a new section to your page

To insert a new section into your website, follow these steps:

1. In the Website Editor, go to the side menu and click Add Section to open the section panel.
2. Choose a category to view pre-designed sections.
3. Drag and drop your selected section onto your page.

How to adjust the section layout and columns

You can change how content is arranged within a section by modifying its columns:

1. Click on the section you want to edit. 
2. Select the Layout icon located at the top-right corner of the section. The layout settings will appear.
3. Use the Columns slider to increase or decrease the number of columns.

This allows you to control how your content is distributed — for example, creating multiple columns for images or text.

How to add elements to a section

Sections already come with default elements, but you can easily add more if needed: 

1. In the Website Editor, go to the side menu and click the Add Element icon. This will open the elements panel.
2. Drag and drop the element you want into your chosen section.

You can add different types of elements such as text blocks, images, buttons, or videos to enhance your page.
