Point Your Vodien Domain to Squarespace
This guide walks you through pointing your Vodien-registered domain to your Squarespace website by updating your domain's DNS records. Proper DNS setup is essential for verifying domain ownership and making sure your site loads correctly under your custom domain.

- ns2.vodien.com

You can access your Vodien account manager and follow this guide to check and update your name servers before connecting your domain to Squarespace.
Before you begin
To point your domain to Squarespace, you'll first need to connect your domain within Squarespace itself and retrieve the DNS records it requires. For step-by-step instructions, refer to Squarespace help guide: Connecting a third-party domain to your Squarespace site
Once you’ve completed those steps, Squarespace displays a DNS Settings panel with two CNAME records and four A records. You'll need these values to update your domain's DNS settings in Vodien.
You may refer to the table below as a guide. You must still go through the steps above to get your own exact records—don't copy the example values here directly.

Squarespace now requires a verification record before it recognizes the connection. If this record is missing or incorrect, Squarespace will automatically unlink the domain after 15 days, and you'll need to start the connection process over. There should only be one CNAME record for <uniquecode.yourdomain.com>. |

Wait for the connection to complete
Once your records are saved, allow 48-72 hours for the connection to take effect. During this window:
- A "pending domain owner verification" message or browser privacy warnings are normal and clear up once propagation finishes.
- An SSL certificate is generated automatically once the connection is complete.
- Check progress anytime in your Squarespace Domains panel.
If errors persist after 72 hours, double-check your records in the DNS Settings panel.
All set!
You’ve successfully pointed your Vodien domain to your Squarespace website. After propagation is complete, your website should start loading using your custom domain. If it doesn’t reflect immediately, just give it a little more time—this is completely normal.
