Point a Domain to Your Website in cPanel
This guide outlines the process for directing your domain to your website hosted on cPanel. By following these steps, visitors will be able to access your website using your chosen domain name.
To complete the setup, you will need to configure the required DNS records in your domain's DNS management panel so that your domain directs traffic to your cPanel hosting account.
Add the following DNS records to your domain's DNS settings to connect your domain to your cPanel-hosted website:

DNS zone specific instructions
The method for adding or updating A records depends on where your DNS is managed. Refer to the instructions corresponding to your DNS zone:
- Account Manager DNS
- cPanel DNS (by default, this is already configured)
General steps
If your domain’s DNS is managed by a provider other than Vodien, use these general instructions below:
- Access your domain’s DNS management panel.
- Locate the existing A record entries for your domain, both with and without the www prefix.
- Edit or add the necessary A records as specified above.
- Allow time for DNS propagation. Changes may take up to 72 hours to become active.
By completing these steps, your domain will be configured to point to your WordPress Hosting site.
