A. Mandatory Renewal
Any domain transfer to Vodien will incur a mandatory one-year renewal. Domain renewal fees will be based on our domain price list.

B. Registrar Lock
Make sure that your domain is unlocked by your previous registrar, to ensure that the domain transfer can go through

C. Domain Expiration Date
We recommend that you submit a transfer request as early as 30 days before the actual expiration date to prevent any inconveniences if there are unforeseen technical issues or delays that may affect the transfer process.

According to ICANN regulations, newly registered domains or those transferred within the last 60 days cannot be transferred again. These domains are locked or on hold with the current Registar for security. Most domains also have a Registrar Lock in place to enhance their secuirty.

Will my website go down during a domain name transfer? No, your website won't go down during a domain transfer. Transferring a domain only involves changing the registrar, not your email or hosting. Your website and services will remain active and unaffected during the transfer process.

To check if a domain has been transferred, look for a confirmation message in your account dashboard under the domain management or transfer section. You can also check the domain's status; it should no longer show as "Pending Transfer" once the process is complete.
